Waiting on my copy of the book to arrive. Was great listening to Taylor tell his story; such a sad childhood! It happens too often these days. I'm so glad he found music to be his rock to hold on to. Like me, you'll probably laugh, feel sad, and in the end be hopeful for Taylor and his career choices. The book touched many cords for me -- living with the grandparents; divorced parents (one of whom had a drinking problem); moving around a lot; and feeling lonely as a child. I can also relate to Taylor's feeling of discouragement. I'm delighted that Taylor persevered and is able to live his dream. The book does have many inspirational as well as naughty episodes to it.
