I haven’t read a biography by ANYONE in a long time but I read Taylor Hicks’ book “A Heart Full of Soul” in record time — 5 hours. Like me, you’ll probably laugh, feel sad, and in the end be hopeful for Taylor and his career choices.

The book touched many cords for me — living with the grandparents; divorced parents (one of whom had a drinking problem); moving around a lot; and feeling lonely as a child. I can also relate to Taylor’s feeling of discouragement. I’m delighted that Taylor persevered and is able to live his dream.

The book does have many inspirational as well as naughty episodes to it. A very enjoyable product for a new artist and writer.

I thoroughly enjoyed both the audio and hardbound versions of Heart Full of Soul! Taylor courageously puts out there in words just as he does on stage. Bravo to him!

Listened to Taylor reading Heart Full of Soul over the weekend. Waiting on my copy of the book to arrive. Was great listening to Taylor tell his story; such a sad childhood! It happens too often these days. I’m so glad he found music to be his rock to hold on to. Born to perform!

Taylor Hicks is a down-to-earth, charming guy who never gave up on his dream. He’s an inspiration on many levels!

A great entertainer who owns the stage when he’s performing, Taylor always gives 150%. “Heart Full of Soul” is his story and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it!
