Monster Worldwide, Inc., parent company for Monster.com earlier today announced it will partner with Birmingham-based Community Newspaper Holdings, Inc. (CHNI) on developing some 80 career and recruitment sites. The communities that will be served through these sites are already served by more than 140 publications associated with CNHI. CHNI serves as the parent company for some 93 daily newspapers.

The announcement, according to this Reuters story, is the latest such partnership for Monster, having already made similar agreements with various media outlets including the New York Times and The Boston Globe.
